Steps To A 125 Web Design

Most 125 web designs start out with our promotional package which costs $125 and includes a domain name, hosting for 1 year, email addresses if desired, and 5 hours of design time. Your quote should have included an estimate on the number of hours required to complete your web site.


At every step of your project, you will receive a time accounting statement that will keep you updated on exactly how many hours of your quote you have used to date.


Your web design will progress through the following stages:

Answer a preliminary set of questions to start defining the scope of the project.

We will follow up with some additional questions and comments based on your answers.

You will receive a firm quote for services.

Client approves the quote/hours.

If you have requested a domain, a payment of $10 will be due at this time.

Once the $10 is received, your domain name is purchased, if needed, and from 1-3 web design “sample images” are produced for review. This phase takes 7-14 days with 1-2 hours of billing.

Comments are requested based on the “sample images.”

If design changes are requested, additional “sample designs” take 7-14 days and .5 to 1 hours of billing.

After approval of a sample design, full payment for the web site is due.

Client recommendations are integrated into the chosen design and the website is created within a content management framework. This step accrues approximately 1-1.5 hours of time.

The site is now populated with information provided by the client. If special plug-ins were requested and quoted, such as Ecommerce, they are set up and tested at this time. Design time for this step depends on the original quote and client instruction.

Any extra work/hours requested by the client during design and after final quote will be billed and owing at this time.

Once the site has been populated and any extras initialized and tested, the site is turned over to the client giving them the ability to add, change and remove pages.

The entire process takes from 1-3 weeks depending on client responsiveness to inquiries.


After the website is turned over to the client, 125 Web Design is always available to help with updates, upgrades, and any additional issues or requirements the client may request.
